He currently writes for Saturday Night Live, prior to which he had written for MadTV and Brooklyn-Nine-Nine, and briefly starred in the short lived sitcom Grand Crew.

My old pal Ash Diggs joins the program!

Ash and I started comedy together in the lovely mountain state of Vermont. Now we both live in New York. In addition to being a hilarious comedian, Ash also teaches standup comedy at the Second City in Brooklyn!

We dive deep into how he created his standup comedy curriculum, his childhood as a military brat, what it was like growing up as a biracial person in the south, his brief stint in ROTC, and how a shoulder injury changed his life by allowing him to avoid military service.

We also talk about what it's like being in a comedian in our current digital age and where Ash sees his career going forward.
