Over 50% of people are mouth breathers. I am one currently and never really thought about the adverse health affects it has on my body. I just assumed that mouth breathing and nose breathing were the same. News flash, they are not. Nose breathing is very different than mouth breathing and has a lot of health benefits. One of the big take seats I found was that nose breathing can help with our parasympathetic nervous system. By breathing with our nose we reach deeper parts of our lungs which have more parasympathetic nerve fibers.
