During a tabling of the amendment bill for the National Forestry Act 1984, Datuk Ali Biju, Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, said that while Orang Asli communities are allowed to harvest products from the forest reserves, it must only be for domestic use and not commercial purposes.
