I have heard in the past from Christians, especially fundamentalist apologists, state that the evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ is that the story has survived so long and wouldn't have if it wasn't true. Well, here is another example of a "miracle" that almost became an urban legend as well where you can see easily how Christians can fall prey to believe in miracles that aren't supernatural events at all.
