I genuinely didn't want to have my mom on the show in this capacity, but it's a great opportunity for her to tell her story. On June 20th, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The course of action is in play and she's begun her chemo treatment. As was the case with Cash, we saw this as her story to tell. This is the most special story we've ever been able to share.
Jolie Lindholm is our guest this week! We talk about coming up in 2 scenes (NY & FL) and how she went from helping her friend's band out with some background vocals to fronting a beloved band. Jolie gives us the details on how The Darling Fire came to be. The Darling Fire's new album will be available in September courtesy of our friends at Iodine Recordings. Great talk!

Rarely do we have 3 weeks of shit to catch up on with ya...loaded show with some Cash & Roxie invasion as well. Have fun with this one!
Back to back Why Did We Ever Meet hall of fame episodes? Yep! This week's guest is Orange Island vocalist Dave Gorman. Holy cow, what a great conversation! We gush over a mutual love of Quicksand, Miltown, Brian McTernan & Josh English. We try to unravel the mystery of whether we played together (or if the show was cancelled), the beauty of music and the lifelong impact it has on bonds and friendships. So much more! This is a MUST LISTEN!
Roxie is our very special guest. We hear about her favorite foods, her favorite cartoons, how much she loves ASMR, and so much more. A very WHOLESOME episode this week! Enjoy!

TW: Discussions of mental illness, su*c*de, depression.
From Cash's Dad: "Here it is! I guess it can just be scheduled first thing Thursday morning? We'll just use that image I sent you that he made with him holding the ceramic cat."

Catching up on life is hard. We're doing our best. We discuss the acceptable amount of time to cry after a movie is already over, Ash discusses her upbringing and says something she's never said before...and we update a LONG TERM STORY on our relationship with our neighbors!
