A documentary film about people who lived through the atomic bombs in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Under the Mushroom Clouds is a portrait of individuals who lived through the atomic bombs and the message of peace they wish to spread to the world today.

-Akio Inoe – Hiroshima age 16 at the time of bomb
-Iwao Nakanishi – Iwao has given me exclusive access to the Hiroshima Army Clothing Factory. One of 12 buildings left standing after the A-Bomb. I am the first foreigner to ever enter the building.
-Rebun Kayo – University of Hiroshima Graduate Student. Lebun has sent scorched concrete from the Genbaku Dome to over 80 universities worldwide in an effort to make people think about peace.
-Heihachiro Yano – Nagasaki age 16 at time of the bomb.
-Inosuke Hayasaki – Spoke before Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev at The Reykjavík Summit which resulted in the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union.
