As a football coach what do I think of "analytics". The simplicity of taking football and distilling it down to a set of numbers that are easily comparable is in and of itself a positive thing that has brought more fans to the "nerdy" side of football. On the flipside it has taken a bit of the humanity out of the game and at the same time we have lost the ability to find our own opinion or make decisions for ourselves.
