Why do we change and transform ourselves?
We change because something in us starts to whisper, "This doesn't feel right anymore." Sometimes the change comes slowly and gently. Other times it knocks us over and forces us to stop. No matter how it manifests itself, change is part of being human. It is our way of finding home within ourselves.
When the pain becomes too great
Often it starts with pain. Something breaks – in the body, in the heart or in the mind. Perhaps we have been fighting for too long. Maybe we have forgotten ourselves. And suddenly we feel it: "I can't live like this anymore." That's where the change begins. Not because we want to, but because we no longer have any other choice.
We long to be whole
Change is not just about becoming a new version of ourselves. It is just as much about finding home – feeling who we are when we no longer play roles or live up to other people's expectations. Many women tell me that they feel away from themselves. Transformation becomes a way to find your way back. To the soul. To the truth.
Life's change invites us to feel
We also change because life changes. When the children move away from home. When we lose. When we fill up. When we wake up one morning and think, "Is this it?" Those moments open something up. They call for honesty and new elections. We are invited to feel and take steps in a new direction.
We long for meaning and peace
Many people I meet begin to ask deeper questions: What is the point? What has value? How do I really want to live? It is the soul's way of calling to us. Not with grand explanations, but with a quiet longing for authenticity, presence and purpose.
Change as freedom
We carry so many old stories. About not being good enough. About having to do everything right. About not taking up too much space. Transformation is when we start to let go of them. When we choose ourselves – with everything we are. When we stop apologizing to ourselves. It feels like freedom.
We change together
Even though it feels lonely, we don't walk the path alone. Sometimes it's a conversation, a session, a warm hand, or a space where we meet – that sets something in motion. We mirror ourselves in each other. We inspire each other. And when one dares to take a step, more dare.
A journey, not a destination
Transformation is not something you are done with. It's a journey. A movement. A quiet, brave choice over and over again: to become more ourselves. To stand by what we feel. To live with more love and authenticity – not for the sake of others, but because we deserve it.
