Why does God use flawed people?

We live in an ever changing culture. Isn't it true that the Bible was written thousands of years ago and the content concerning morality wasn't understanding of post-modern era? Was Paul actually warning to people who are in love and in a monogamous relationship with the same sex that this was sin or was he referring to the practice of temple prostitutes and having many partners? Is it possible that we have misread and misunderstood a lot of the Bible for todays Christian dealing with complex issues such as Homosexuality, Gender Identity and Racial Identity? Is the Bible simple a little behind the times on this issue? Or have we possibly misapplied ancient texts to modern times poorly? Pastor Chris Talks about it.

There are stories from our real life that are very radical about how we took chances to share the gospel in crazy situations and this will empower you to be bold. If we can do it, you can do. What is hell all about? How could a good God torcher people for eternity in hell? Is hell forever or will there eventually be an end to it? Is it a real place? God is sovereign. There is no doubt about that. But how does that sovereignty look in our everyday lives. Are we mere puppets that have no choice in any matter of our daily lives? Is He pulling the strings and we hopelessly resign ourselves to the fact that there is nothing we can really do to make things better or worse because in the end, God makes the decision. We may have chosen a terrible path for our life full of sickness, disease and trouble but He knows what's best and we don't so we must trust His master plan after all. Or have we been sold a lie about who is in charge on this earth? After all, 1 Cor. 4:4 says that it is now Satan that is running things. How did this happen? Is there anything that can be done about it? Should we hope for a better life now? Or be resigned to a life that seems to be way below anyones expectations of a better life. Does God want us to have a good life, or dare I say "Our Best Life Now?" What does the Bible say? In the series we will share what the Bible says. You be the judge.

Satan lost the battle at calvary. Jesus won. Now he has given us his name. We must use his name and come against all the power of the wicked one! Sometimes we are praying about problems when God has called us to speak to our problems in His name. 

Did you know that God promises not only that we are going to face difficult times but also that he's going to pour out his spirit in a way that shakes the entire world. Yes, difficult times are coming. yes, if you look at what is happening around the world it seems that we are coming into some difficult times very soon. But the reality is that even though Satan is on the move, God is much more on the move. Isaiah promises that darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the people BUT THE LORD WILL shine upon you and his brightness will be upon you. Now that's good news. The world will get dark but the bright will get brighter!! Revival is coming. 

Today there are many doctrines that are attacking the core foundational beliefs about salvation such as universalism, Calvinism, Moralistic Therapeutic Deism and other such unbiblical ideas as these. The Bible clearly teaches against these. Today Pastor Chris Harrison gets a rare interview by phone with his dad, Dr. Mike Harrison on these subjects including difficult topics about hell as eternal conscious torment, calvinism and its attack on the true gospel message and many other false claims that are fighting against the real gospel of Jesus.
