This week we're joined by Khetla, who is a long time listener. Khetla is an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA). The main purpose of IDVAs is to address the safety of victims, and they can also help a victim with everything they need to become safe and rebuild their life, as well as helping them to navigate the criminal justice process and working with the different statutory agencies to provide wraparound support. 

In this episode, Khleta tells us a little about what she does, but also shares her own life experience.
