The same team behind the London Wine Competition is now coming to Shanghai in 2019

Building on the phenomenal success of its March 2018 London Wine Competition, Beverage Trade Network announced that it would be hosting a similar event, the China Wine Competition, in Shanghai in 2019. The event is particularly noteworthy because it will be the first of its kind to take place on Mainland China, and will be specifically geared to the needs and preferences of Chinese wine consumers.

As part of its focus on celebrating marketable, consumer-driven wines, the China Wine Competition will follow the same judging criteria and process as the London Wine Competition. The event in London helped to set a new benchmark for judging wines by establishing three important criteria – Quality, Value and Design & Packaging – as the keys to evaluating a truly great wine.
