Today we’re talking about honesty.
Not “brutal honesty” where people use the truth as an excuse to be cruel — I’m talking about real honesty. The kind where you actually say what you mean instead of pretending all the time just to avoid awkwardness.
Because apparently now, honesty automatically means you’re rude.
I don’t buy that.
From awkward social situations like telling someone they’ve got something on their face… to fake compliments… to friends making terrible decisions nobody wants to call out anymore — it feels like people would rather lie comfortably than tell the truth awkwardly.
And honestly?
That drives me nuts.
I talk about:
This one’s more personal, more direct, and probably gonna offend at least a few people.
But that’s kind of the point.
