Journey to Success

Why Failure is Good for Success?

Listen Later

Click Here to be Part of the Family - Failure is something we experience every day. We fail every day without even realizing it. Listen, when you forget the ingredients of a recipe and you realize it only after grocery shopping, you have failed… but it doesn't matter if you really think about it, the reason is because you will go back to shopping by taking the right ingredients.

When you drop a glass on the floor because you put it to dry in the wrong place, you have failed, but it does not matter because from that day on, you will be more careful to put the next glass in a safer part of the kitchen.

Moving on to talent, you lost your Football match this season, you have also failed. In the end, the only thing you can do is to train hard to win the next season.

Every day we fail… but I can't dislike this word, from my point of view it is not negative at all. Whenever you fail, you come to a crossroads: the alley of abandonment and the alley of improvement.

The alley of abandonment leads you not to improve, and if you do not improve, you will obviously lose the next chance, whatever it is, whatever the sector. The alley of improvement will lead you to improve yourself in such a way that you become the person you always wanted to be.

A true winner, a leader, a complete person, does not win because he has been lucky in life or because he has had some help. But simply because he never gave up. Not giving up means constantly improving until you reach the set goal.

Someone can definitely undervalue these words of mine, I'm sure. You can tell me that achieving business success is not the same as forgetting some ingredient in the shop or losing a football game, the truth is that without realizing it we live in a situation of continuous persistence, every time we lose in something, we unconsciously have a two ways, to abandon the way or to improve ourself to get the winning result. It depends how important that result is for us.

A baby, my dear friends, crawls for 6-10 months before starting to walk. Stopping crawling is the hardest thing in this world, yet we all walk without hands and knees. This is because we consider not crawling very important despite the extreme difficulty, and we did, all of us, we stopped crawling. The child in us is a warrior, who knows persistence, consistency and discipline in a way we do not even know.

Personal example that brings us all a little closer: I can never lose weight as much as I really want, the truth is that I like to eat. I can say that, at least for now, losing weight is not so important like a plate of carbonara, sorry… it is always about food.

So what you really need to understand is: how important the result is.

This is the main reason why failing in something is an absolutely not negative concept. If you take the road of abandonment it is because obviously you have something else better to do. If there is something that does not push you to reach those goals is because you are okay, don't feel bad, you have to feel good about yourself. This is the most important thing.

But when does the road to success become mandatory to achieve one's goals? When: being comfortable with yourself means achieving success for the thing we are passionate about. Regardless of talent, skill or hypothetical help.

When you realize you are passionate about something, but you fail constantly, then failure must be the fuel that pushes you to do more and more.

Because improving means achieving the desired success in small steps.
