Guest: Laura Dobos of Boxifly
Fueled by a passion for sustainability and a mission to address the low recycling rates in the United States, Laura launched Boxifly in Austin, TX. Witnessing excessive waste from online shopping after becoming a parent and years of corporate business travel, she realized there were limited solutions for hard to recycle items. After immersing herself into research on recycling rates and limitations of single stream recycling, Laura realized she needed to act. As a mother of two, she is driven by the aspiration to create a greener and brighter future for her children. Her mission is to provide innovative and accessible recycling solutions that make a significant impact on the environment and encourage more effective recycling practices in the community.

Guest: Nazia Siddiqui, Transcend
Support Transcend on Kickstarter
Nazia Siddiqui is the founder and designer of Transcend, a fashion brand inspired by her deep-rooted passion for textiles and art, cultivated by her mother during her early years in India. Growing up, Nazia was immersed in the vibrant and hands-on experience of shopping for fabrics and creating custom outfits with her mom, an experience that sparked her love for design and craftsmanship.
Under her leadership, Transcend has built a network of ethical manufacturers and artisan communities, dedicated to preserving authentic heritage crafts while offering women beautifully crafted, functional, and sustainable clothing.
