Why Good Habits Go To Sh*t

Listen Later

We all have times when we seem to revert back to old “bad” habits - even when we’ve been doing a great job creating and maintaining new, “good” habits.

You’re likely returning to a habit that doesn’t serve your health, well-being, or relationships long-term because of the immediate although temporary benefits you get from the habit in the moment. In other words, our “bad” habits off us an escape or an opportunity to numb or avoid difficult emotions and challenging decisions.

I invite you to consider these questions:

  • What emotions are you trying to escape, avoid, or numb?
  • What decisions are you resisting?
  • If you know that you need help getting back on track with your “good” habits,  email me to schedule a complimentary happy hour call.
