Why Good People Still Feel Dirty | February 8, 2026

Listen Later

You keep trying to look good. Avoid judgment. Prove you're not a bad person. YouTube and TikTok are full of people trying to figure out how to get rid of shame and guilt - even though our culture says there's nothing to feel guilty about.

But what if the dirt isn't just something you've done - what if it's a barrier between you and God? And what if trying to clean yourself up is exactly what's keeping you stuck?

Guest speaker Pastor Tim Brown reveals what Jesus was really doing when He got down and washed His disciples' feet. It wasn't just about hospitality or humility. It was about something far more radical: the highest claims ever made paired with the lowest behavior ever shown. And in that contradiction lies the proof that He's exactly who He said He was.

You need the bath once. But you need your feet washed regularly. Most of us only understand one or the other - and that's where we get stuck.

💡 Big Idea:Jesus offers a double cure - the bath of salvation and the ongoing footwashing of confession.
