In this episode, Rather dives into her family’s decision to homeschool… and then not. It gets a little personal when these discussions come up because we are social creatures and most of us learned our social tendencies through the school system. We hear a lot of “I went to public school and I turned out fine” sorts of comments when in discussion. This episode is meant to discuss those types of comments and also to explain more of WHY we chose homeschooling in the first place. Ultimately, it’s a personal decision of our family’s, and it has never been intended to insult or undermine what other families choose to do.
