It’s a new month, which means we have a new theme. This month will be focused on menstrual, sexual, and reproductive health. In this solo episode, I share my story of why I started my nonprofit organization Scrub LIfe Cares. As a Public Health Professional, I saw firsthand the struggles that women and youths in underserved communities face when it comes to accessing quality health and education resources.
With a passion for making a difference and a drive to create real change, I founded Scrub Life Cares to help bridge the gap and provide the support these communities need., Scrub Life Cares is dedicated to serving women and youths in underserved communities by promoting health and education.
In this episode, I share my personal journey and the challenges I faced along the way, as well as the successes and impact that Scrub Life Cares has already achieved. I talk about Period Poverty, Menstrual hygiene management, and more.
Tune in to hear about the vision, mission, and values that drive Scrub Life Cares and learn more about the incredible work being done to empower women and youths in underserved communities. Whether you're a healthcare worker, a community advocate, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this episode is sure to inspire and motivate you to get involved and support this important cause.
