According to the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 647000 Americans die from heart disease each year or 1 in every 4 deaths. High blood pressure, high blood cholesterol and diabetes are key risk factors for heart disease. Managing this disease over the years has been a major challenge to many people globally. The good news here is that purple vegetables can reduce artery stiffness and lower blood pressure.
