Why it is important to listen to your emotions.

What makes you sad? What makes you anxious? What makes you angry? What brings you happiness? If someone was to ask you these questions, would you be able to answer them all or would you find it hard to really come up with the actual reason for these emotions coming up in your daily life. Sometimes we feel emotions coming up when we weren’t feeling them in the first place, but why does this happen. Have you ever stopped in that moment and thought to yourself, what’s making me sad, angry, anxious, or even happy in this moment right here. Today, we are going to talk about how important it is to listen to your emotions and how we can learn to really tune into why the emotions might be coming up and what that emotion is really trying to tell us. During these holiday seasons it’s important to take care of your mental health and tuning into the emotions that might be coming up for you. For some this season is filled with love and happiness but for others this time brings up sadness and loneliness do to losing loved ones or being isolated during these colder months. So, let’s really dive into what emotions are and how they can help us realize what’s happening in our lives. Give yourself permission to feel those emotions because listening to your emotions can be your greatest skill.
