Why Our Cultural Moment Needs Verse By Verse Expositional Preaching with Ed Stetzer

Listen Later

At our training events, you never know who might just pop in for a surprise visit!  Our guest on the show this week is Dr. Ed Stetzer, one of the best people around who can explain to us the cultural moment that we are in, and why verse by verse expository preaching might be particularly useful in the age and stage that we find ourselves. Not only because of the current cultural moment, Dr Stetzer also believes that the nature of Biblical inerrancy nearly demands that the Bible be taught expositionally.

Dr Ed Stetzer,, is a professor and dean at Wheaton College where he also serves as Executive Director of the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. He has planted and  revitalized churches , trained pastors and church planters on six continents, has earned two master’s degrees and two doctorates, and has written hundreds of articles and a dozen books. He is Regional Director for Lausanne North America movement and is frequently cited in, interviewed by, and writes for news outlets such as USAToday and CNN. He is the Founding Editor of The Gospel Project, a curriculum used by more than 1.7 million individuals each week for bible study. His national radio show, Ed Stetzer Live, airs Saturdays on Moody Radio and affiliates.
