Countless number of self-help books are written every year, yet none can even begin to compare with the help the Bible provides. No book written by man can ever provide the guidance we need to navigate through the obstacles of life. Imagine walking in the dark, stumbling along the way, misstep after misstep. Always bumping into things, unable to see, never getting where you want to go.

That’s what life is like without the Bible. Stumbling along in the dark, misstep after misstep, never reaching our destination. No wonder the psalmist wrote, “Thy word isa lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105
