#51: Shh. Listening is one of the best ways to support others. Ernie Rambo Ph. D. NBCT encourages us to actively listen instead of jumping in, or even instead of spending the entire "listening time" thinking of what your response is going to be. Prior to retiring from classroom teaching, Ernie held a unique set of skills and expertise. She found that school districts are not always interested in elevating a classroom teacher into leadership positions, particularly those who push back on systemic issues. She now encourages teachers to find their voice so that they can be educators *and* leaders in their classrooms. Ernie is the owner of Transformational Education Consulting, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Follow Ernie Rambo on Instagram here. Learn more about Ernie Rambo on her website here.
