Let’s talk about something no one seems to fully understand… hugs.
Because I don’t get it.
When are you supposed to hug someone? When are you not? And why is there no universal system for this? One second you’re going in confidently, next second you’re stuck in some weird arm position wondering if you just messed it up.
And it doesn’t stop there.
Goodbyes are just as bad. The pressure of ending a conversation, deciding whether to hug, what to say, and then the absolute worst — running into the same person again after you already said goodbye.
From there, things go exactly where you’d expect:
Random thoughts about houses with way too many windows
Why I don’t trust being visible to the outside world
Why I prefer the dark when working
And how people keep getting… weirder
It’s part social confusion, part random observations, and part me trying to understand how any of this makes sense.
Because honestly… it doesn’t.
