From catcalls to comments about our weight, height or hair, to someone suggesting we might be on our period if we're having a difficult day, to people talking behind our backs, to abuse and more, women know what it means to fight through challenging experiences. ON. THE. DAILY. Sometimes, we're fatigued, depressed, bone-tired, and irritable because we don't realize how much we deal with regularly, how much we have to stuff down to keep going. BUT WE MUST, and it's okay to take a time out to actually acknowledge what we've gone through, and might currently be going through, so that we stop wearing a mask of perfectionism (and expecting others to be perfect as well), and begin to restore joy, energy and rest to our souls, and our relationships. The world may not be safe or kind to women tho, but we are clinging to grace and goodness, and we are determined to help each other hold on to hope.
