Welcome to Worship for Sunday 13th March 2022 – Lent 2 Why was Jesus Crucified?  For being a rule-breaker perhaps.  Wondering if sometimes the Church is caught up in religiosity rather than relationship, or rules and doctrine rather than reconciliation.  We also explore anger with Jesus and from Jesus.  The story of healing the woman on the Sabbath also speaks to those of us who often feel ignored in the Church.  She does nothing to capture Jesus’ attention.  He sees her and is moved to help her regardless of the rules or doctrine.  However, he doesn’t wipe out the need for Sabbath – just wants to do good with it.  So whether you need reminded that God sees you or that faith isn’t about restrictions but relationships then stop by.  And if something jars with you explore whether it is your religiosity rather than your faith that is being shaken…
