For a long time, I used to think that one of the reasons I've been single for so long was because I might be too masculine for guys—too independent, too assertive, too stubborn, too direct, too ambitious. You know, being feminine in my mind was associated with being submissive, skilled in the kitchen, or dressing up super girly... and while I think they’re great qualities too, I just don't necessarily see myself that way.

Needless to say, I always feel surprised yet intrigued when my girlfriends tell me, "You're one of the most feminine women that I've known," or like how this conversation I had with Tyler Rohoblt in DC started because she told me that she wanted to learn more about how to cultivate the "divine femininity" which she saw in me, when this was only the second time that we had met! 😬 While it's still hard for me to believe, at least now I know that's not the reason haha (if you've watched my recent episode on being single on Valentine's Day, you'll know why) but growing to embrace my femininity in my own way is probably one of the most empowering and beautiful gifts I've allowed myself to have 💝

Do I think cultivating feminine energy is beneficial for guys as well? Absolutely. Feminine energy encompasses traits such as nurturing, intuition, empathy, creativity, and collaboration. Unlike the traditional belief, these qualities are not exclusive to any gender. Even if you're a man, you can also benefit from embracing feminine energy. Balancing both the feminine and masculine energies within ourselves allows us to foster emotional intelligence, compassion, and inner wisdom, ultimately contributing to our overall growth and fulfillment.

Special thanks to Tyler for joining me in this episode and also helping me articulate what I do to cultivate my feminine energy through our conversations—something I wasn't even consciously aware of myself until we spoke about it 🙈 (fun fact: we recorded this video months ago but it still holds true for me)

What are your ways to cultivate and unlock the power of the feminine energies within you? Comment below and let us know! 🌼🌸🌺
