  • Remembering 9/11 25 Years Later

From the rural American kitchen to Capitol Hill all our lives changed that beautiful September morning in 2001. After the Gettysburg Chapter, NSDAR gathered at the Waynesboro 9/11 Memorial for the 25th anniversary memorial service for those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on The World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on another hijacked plane perhaps headed to the Capitol Building, we recounted our memories of that day. These are women's perspectives of not only shielding the children they protected but also shielding the public they served. From one side of our country to the other, we were all affected.

  • Here's What's Up at the DAR Library and PCN! An Interview with Debra Sheppard

Join us for a marvelous discussion with our PSSDAR State Librarian and president/CEO of PCN, Debra Sheppard as she reveals her choice for this year's state book club book! This is a great episode for those who want to know more about how our chapters support the NSDAR library and the fun of participating in our book clubs at the national, state, and chapter level.

Our interview just happened to take place on Ms. Sheppard's 30th anniversary of at her time with PCN, the Pennsylvania Cable Network. I was amazed to learn of the innovation and significance of cable TV and of PCN in particular to our state.
