Autumn quickly descends upon us. The days grow darker; leaves fall to their death. The cold chill shivers our spines. The Scriptures readings at the Holy Mass turns our attention to the Last Things -- Heaven, Hell, Death, and Final Judgement. We contemplate our inevitable end; and rightly so. All things will be brought to bare. The consequences of our actions are illuminated by God's piercing light. And we shall see ourselves as we truly are.
