Like most of the silent majority of America, January spent her life believing politics was a messy game to stay out of.

That was until, in the past three years she has been transformed in belief: In the halls of power, women's experiences, concerns, and aspirations need to have a strong advocate.

We have to put aside the idea that we can continue to ignore politics and expect it not to have an effect on our home life, our family life, and the success of our businesses.
