It seems as if every day there is another Yankee going down with one injury or another.
Over the weekend, pitcher Clark Schmidt was scratched from a start with shoulder soreness.
Today, Paul Goldschmidt left the game after two at bats with a back issue. While Goldschmidt doesn't expect this to affect him being ready for Opening Day, at his age (37) there is at least some cause for concern.
That said, on this week's Two-Minute Drill podcast, Jim Monaghan and Chris Swendeman look at the American League East and have some words of optimism for the Yankees and their fans.
