Why You DON’T Have To Be Determined or Disciplined
You don’t need to be disciplined or determined in order to get your shit done, but you must be DEVOTED.
My brilliant podcast producer, Rubi, sent me this note:
“... I’d LOVE to hear a mini series on your podcast about how you stay consistent and determined to the things you set your mind to - for example, the daily episodes.”

As I pondered, I realized that I never “set my mind to” what I want to get done - I am able to show up consistently because I’m devoted to only those experiences that genuinely light me up.
Devotion is a mix of love, loyalty and enthusiasm. You must LOVE the experience AS you live it, be loyal and consistent to doing it in a way that aligns to your truest you, and deeply excited and lit up by the experience.
Devotion is also having the sustainable energy for the things that light you up because they matter to you the most.
When an opportunity or experience lights me up or animates me, I am magnetically pulled to the experience because it is a full-body HELL YES for me. Once I’m lit up, I’m able to create habits, routines, and rituals that will allow us to sustain the experience.
I invite you to consider these questions:
