Why we compete

Competition comes from a place of not feeling what we have is good enough.  Women have been living inside patriarchal system for 12,000 years.  There have been consequences for women in their power. 

Every time I offered a different perspective to the masculine in coaching, I was met with resistance and told things like  

“you don’t know how to manage egos.”

“you need to be more aggressive in order to get people to give you what you want.”

“you need to care less about how people feel.”

“I don’t know how to talk to you so you don’t get upset… aka… do what I want without challenging my perspective.
