Sometimes we just have to keep going, even if we aren’t quite ready for it.
It’s kinda what those life lessons we all have to live through are all about.
But, in order to be able to do this… to keep going, we have to admit to ourselves what our inner truths are and learn how we can all individually honor those truths. And we have to be willing to do that in real time.
Not in hindsight.
Not “if-it-ever-comes-around-again.”
No. Has to be in the moment, as it’s happening because if we don’t, well, honestly…it just slips away from us.
And often when that happens we start dwelling with those not-so-good-feelings as things start slipping away and we get stuck believing that we have to put up with those feelings in many areas of our lives.
We actually don’t, but we believe we do.
And we believe this because we have gotten too comfortable living with ourselves and the negative emotions we attach to ourselves after we let things slip away from us. We have become really good at kicking our own ass.
We have.
So, How can we get better at living life for ourselves if we don’t honor ourselves?
If we don’t stop our self imposed ass kickings?
Simple: We can’t.
If living our best life is truly what we seek then let’s start viewing our own sense of self a bit differently and maybe then we can see just how much better living can actually get.
So, sit somewhere comfy, listen on and hey!
Maybe learning how to honor yourself is the only ass kicking you really needed all along.
