Why You Need Your Own Attorney

Usually, the adoptive parents have an attorney but the expectant parent doesn’t. We want to change that! Oftentimes, the expectant parent is usually advised about the law that governs her adoption by a social worker, or worse yet, by the attorney who represents the adoptive parents. While it may be true that the adoptive parents and expectant mother are working together toward a common goal, their legal rights and responsibilities are actually very different.
