Whenever I struggle with something, I always look for real-life stories that will lift me up and inspire me to keep going when the going gets tough.

One of the stories always stands out for me is J.K. Rowling before she becomes known as the author of the Harry Potter series. She was suffering from depression and poverty as a single mother.

The only thing she knew is true for her is her love of writing. Hers was certainly not an overnight success story as she has been struggling for years. She was rejected numerous times before her best-selling series finally got published.

She just kept going. 

When I read about all the legendary people, like Lincoln, Oprah, Einstein, Gandhi or Disney. The common theme among all of them is one single fact.

They never gave up.

Celebrate your wins and breakthrough

It is great if you have some wins and victories along the way. Never underestimates those. Because sometimes there is absolutely no evidence to support or validate our vision until a breakthrough happens.

We simply don’t know what is ahead of us. We may think we know, but the universe has its own way to surprise and reward us.

You don’t know if your breakthrough is just around the corner.

All great things take time and there is no overnight success. You may get discovered by some very influential people or the mass audience one day, but it is always “long-time coming”.  

Stay motivated is the key to succeed in the long run

You may like to read those success stories to keep being inspired. Or you can work with a coach, mentor or teacher to learn how to get better in what you do. You may like to set some challenges, goals or milestone to keep you on track. Regardless, it is about consistent effort and genuine care about your dream that will get you there.

She shared with us how her latest popular deck "The Secret Language of Light" get published and all the ups and downs along the way.
