Most people expect their doctor to do something they simply can't.
Today I'm talking about the difference between primary care and health coaching. Because a lot of people don't fully understand what each one is designed to do.
Primary care is essential. It helps you screen for disease, diagnose problems, and manage medical conditions. But the reality is, most primary care doctors don't have the time to go deep into your day to day habits.
They can guide you. They can prescribe. They can recommend. But they can't walk with you through the implementation. And that's where health coaching comes in.
In this episode, I break down how these two roles are different. I talk about why they can't replace each other. And how combining both can give you a much more complete approach to your health.
