Why Your Heaven Is Closed: The Truth No One Preaches About Tithing
In today’s episode, we dive deep into one of the most misunderstood and transformative principles in Scripture: Tithing, Obedience, and Living Under an Open Heaven.
Using Psalm 37:23 as our foundation, we explore what it truly means for the steps of a righteous person to be ordered by the Lord, a call to submission, sequence, obedience, and putting God first. When our hearts line up with God’s order, everything else begins to fall into place.
Then we walk through Malachi 3, where God issues three powerful truths:
1️⃣ THE CHALLENGE – Return to God and bring the full tithe into the storehouse (the local church).
2️⃣ THE TEST – “Try Me now in this…” God invites us to put Him to the test—a test that takes us to another level.
3️⃣ THE BLESSING – An open Heaven, overflowing provision, and divine protection as God rebukes the devourer on our behalf.
This episode uncovers how tithing isn’t about money, it’s about relationship, covenant, and trust.
✔ Tithing existed before the Law
✔ Jesus affirmed it, correcting priorities—not canceling it
✔ Under grace, our giving becomes generous, voluntary, and worshipful
✔ And through Christ—our High Priest in the order of Melchizedek—our giving becomes relational, not routine
