Today I interview Jahkil Jackson, 13 year old social entrepreneur. For those of you who don't know Jahkil, he is from Chicago and founded Project I am, an organization which helps homeless people ,when he was just 8 years old. Jakhil’s mission is to build awareness of homelessness and help the homeless population by building “Blessing bags''. He is the youth ambassador for HeartLand Alliance, a member of the WE international youth council and has received multiple awards and recognitions by many organizations and media outlets and has partnered with Nike and even Marvel to name a few! Today I am interviewing Isabela and Rhea from Bleed the North to talk about period stigma and period poverty. Their vision is to make sure no menstruator has to choose between putting food on a table and having a clean and healthy period. We all need to strive for a world in which periods are not are a ‘women's issue’ and where menstrautor don't have to miss school because they are bleeding.
