The numbers for Intimate Partner Violence or Domestic Violence are staggering and steadily rising. Despite the level of discomfort involved, it's a conversation we need to have with our sons and daughters, sisters and brothers, friends, and family members. We understand that there are men who also experience IPV but we are speaking from our personal experiences viewed through a female perspective. The usage of pronouns such as She/Her is not meant to trivialize or negate the male voice in this growing, yet preventable epidemic.
