Taylor Swift kicked off the Eras Tour in March of 2023, where she is set to play a grand total (at least as of today) of 152 shows across 54 cities worldwide. The setlist includes a musical journey through all the eras of her musical career. Taylor began playing two surprise songs at every show, one on the guitar and one on the piano every night. Fans worldwide have been obsessed with figuring out what songs were being played and recently, Taylor threw out all the rules. She threw out the rules of no repeats, and added mashups to the song selections. But what does it all mean? Is she telling a story? Or is it all just for fun? One may never know, but we have a lot of thoughts and feelings as always! We also chatted WNBA, Jason and Kylie Kelce being harassed on a date night and we shared our Why Factor choices for the week. 

On this week's episode of Whyspace we chatted Eras Tour updates and played a Taylor Swift-themed round of 'would you rather.' We did a deep dive into the Miss USA scandal and the questions surrounding the death of Mica Miller in South Carolina. To round out this week's episode we played a game of 'Start, Bench, Cut' with over 40 NFL stars, and we were joined by a special guest 'El Predicto' with some early projections for the NFL season, and the relationship status of our favorite couple.

The NFL schedules dropped this week and we had lots of thoughts, opinions, and predictions of our own; along with highlights of the expert's opinions...and why we think we should be getting paid for our hot takes instead of the stuff being put out in the media. It wouldn't be a Whyspace episode without some Taylor Swift chat. We talked about our opinions on the TTPD set on the Eras Tour post-Paris shows, what music video we'd love to see next, and which single should be chosen next. We also talked hypothetically about our celebrity friend crushes and, also, what celebrity couples would devastate us if they split. Episode 21 is everything that is great about Whyspace, entertainment, pop culture, and sports. 

The Eras Tour has resumed in Paris and the genius of Taylor Swift is fully on display with the reimagined sets, costumes, choreography and the addition of The Tortured Poets Department to the setlist. While back in the States, Travis Kelce has kept his social calendar packed with appearances at the Kentucky Derby and the Miami F1 race. The Met Gala was missing their style icon Blake Lively this year, but there were plenty of fashion statements to chat about. Speaking of chatting, Tom Brady was "roasted" on Netflix and we had lots of thoughts and opinions. We wrapped up this episode of Whyspace with a sports recap chatting all things WNBA and more. 

Justin Bieber and Britney Spears both had pictures posted of them in emotional states, one chose to post them himself and one did not. We chatted about why one might post pictures willingly and why it might mean more than meets the eye. It was also a big week in the Kelce family and we chatted about Trav's new contract extension and the news of Jason imminently signing on to Monday Night Football. Of course, we chatted about Taylor and why we hope TTPD will be on the Eras Tour setlist when she kicks off her European leg this week in Paris. We also chatted about more social media noise like Barbara Streisand's Ozempic message and more. 

This episode is a two-parter, excuse our amateur recording techniques! But we covered all things entertainment from Benny Blanco, to celebrities in church and of course a little Taylor Swift. We switched gears to chat sports and celebrated Reggie Bush FINALLY getting his Heisman back and we briefly chatted about some of the new NCAA rules and of course, the NBA playoffs. We then came back and recorded post-NFL draft a recap and our thoughts and feelings. It's your typical Whyspace episode, all over the place, with some technical difficulties and a lot of feelings. We also talked more music news with the infamous Billie Eilish commentary on variant vinyls, as she is at the top of the list of culprits for this phenomenon, along with more Kanye news and what exactly Lizzo is "quitting."
