    The head of the Connecticut state college and university system is stepping down after reports of his excessive spending. Chancellor Terrence Cheng has reached a settlement agreement with the governing board overseeing the public college system that he will step down at the end of June. Despite losing the prestigious title, Cheng will still shift into an advisory role and will continue to earn his 442-thousand-dollars a year salary until he leaves the job. The announcement did not sit well with everyone including Senate Minority Leader, Steve Harding, who voiced concerns to us.
