A report of a threat targeting Greens Farms Elementary School in Westport has been deemed a hoax and was a swatting attempt. Police say Westport is one of several schools in Connecticut that were victims of swatting incidents on Friday. The next day, Bridgeport police cleared a hoax bomb threat at St. Margaret’s Shrine and called that a swatting incident as well. Dozens of witnesses started reporting that they spotted drones in New Jersey in November. Yesterday, our partners at CBS confirmed sightings of these drones in New York City.
