    According to national statistics, PTSD is slightly more common among Veterans than civilians. At some point in their life, findings show 7 out of every 100 Veterans will have PTSD. EMDR is a therapy that has been proven to help first responders and veterans get unstuck from trauma trapped internally. We learned more from Westport Fire Chief Nick Marsan. Nick is also a veteran and supporter of the work done at Fairfield County Trauma Response Team and EMDR to heal trauma.
