Reckless driving, drifting, and car stunts: what if you were stuck in a street takeover? Street takeovers are dangerous; blocking emergency vehicles, terrorizing residents and damaging property, but the police cannot punish those accountable. Senator Paul Cicarella, who represents the 34th district, discussed the bills never taken up for a vote to improve the situation, including more penalties for the people involved in the street takeovers.

A group of students from Bassick High School in Bridgeport are about to see three years of work take to the skies. Students in the Tango program built a two-seater plane and are set to ride in it next week! Aaron Hollander, the founder and CEO of First Aviation Services, explained the program and the need for mentors to inspire more students to get involved. We also heard directly from one of the students involved in the project!
