Good morning, today is Friday, July 12th. I’m Mary Regalado and this is your daily briefing from the Wichita Eagle. The weekend begins with a not-quite-as-humid day. It will still be warm, but dry. Today’s highs will be in the 90s. Our top story is: Kohan Retail Investment Group, which owns almost 30 malls nationally, has purchased Towne West Square for $14 million. The company is based in Great Neck, New York. The almost 900,000-square-foot mall in west Wichita is about 87% occupied.
