Wichita Life Podcast

Peyton Huslig is the quarterback at Missouri State University. He is a native of Andover, Kansas and graduated from Andover Central High School in 2016. This is his first time on the Wichita Life Podcast.

Peyton spent his first collegiate season at Garden City Community college where he led the Broncbusters to an undefeated season and a National Championship. He also earned the Offensive MVP of the national championship game after leading his team 85 yards in the final 1:30 and throwing the game winning touchdown. Peyton is studying cell and molecular biology as a Pre-Med degree and plans to go to Medical School after his undergrad.

Peyton goes in depth on how he went under the radar in recruiting coming out of Andover Central. He knew he had the talent to go D1, but the scouts just didn’t see it yet. He went out and proved it at the JUCO level.

As Davontae Harris once said,

Peyton told us the quote that Davontae once used to describe the guys who made it out of Wichita to the next level.

Grandpa Ron quote

“If good is good enough, then you’re as good as you’ll ever be, but if you believe you can be better and work to achieve, then better is what you will continually be.”
