The South County Museum contains six exhibit buildings highlighting carpentry, blacksmith and printing trades, a carriage barn containing all sorts of horse drawn carriages from a hearse to a fire truck to a one-horse open sleigh. There is also a one room schoolhouse, a living history farm with Rhode Island Red Chickens, sheep and goats. In addition to this we also have antique Ford automobiles and a large textile collection. The Metz Exhibit Hall contains exhibits ranging from a Victorian kitchen and general store to a "please touch me" exhibit which is hands on for all ages.
