Are you a worrier or a warrior? Psalm 63

Today we break down Psalm 63 and explore how King David handled the hard times in his life and his response in and through them! We see that he was a true warrior in response to his scenario rather than becoming a worrier. He was a warrior worshipper!

We pray this encourages you to also rise up and be that Warrior that God has called you to be even in and through the midst of the most difficult or challenging of circumstances!

Psalm 34: The power of the tongue:

You know that old saying, sticks and stones may break my bones but words.....

Today we break down the power of our own tongues and how this can literally change the course of other peoples lives around us as well as our own. The psalm also provokes us into considering whether we are peace makers as apposed to just being peace keepers!

We pray this encourages you today to walk in blessing by using your tongue to speak life to all those around you and to be a peace maker in the midst of difficulties.

I was struck with this passage of scripture and how it perfectly describes the protective, loving and jealous nature of our heavenly father and how we can draw some similarities to our earthly fathers, but doesn't even come close to how our heavenly father feels about us.

Psalm 16

Greetings from the Philippines. We pray you are having a great weekend!

We continue our series on the book of Psalms and today we explore the secret to having true Joy even through the tough seasons of life. For those interested in the environment or even frustrated with the background noise :-) we shot this in the middle of Agdao in downtown Davao City today, one of the poorest neighbourhoods in the area. We love this place!

Rosie and I have really found so much strength and courage in this portion of the Psalm and we pray that it too encourages your spirit and your hearts to look to the Lord in whatever season you are finding yourself in right now.
