Join us as we chat to Dallas-based filmmaker Augustine Frizzell about her journey from indie filmmaking to network television and everything in between. 

Augustine Frizzell was born in Garland, Texas. She is a writer, director, and actress known for The Last Letter From Your Lover (2021), Never Goin' Back (2018), Euphoria (2019). Her first feature, Never Goin' Back, premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival in the Midnight section and was released later that year by A24. She lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, daughter, and cats.

Welcome back to the first episode of Season 2 of the WIFT Austin Podcast. Join us as we talk to the current president of Women in Film & Television Austin, Laura Annalora. Laura Annalora is a Development Producer based in Austin, TX. With over 15 years of experience, Laura has taken on various roles for independent production companies and major cable Networks. Laura's work has aired across multiple platforms in over 170 countries; from Emmy-nominated docu-series First Ascent to BANFF World Television Award winner Don't Tell My Mother.

Laura is the current president of Women in Film and Television, serving on the board from 2021-2023.

Emmy, Peabody, and Gracie award-winning producer and writer Elizabeth (Betty) Buckley is a native Texan with over 25 years of experience in film, television, new media, and animation.

She is best known for producing fifty half hours of "Wishbone" the award-winning PBS children's TV series.

Other work includes producing the comedy special "Gina Brillon: Easily Offended" for HBO Latino and the indie film "Edge of the World" with director Randy Red road.
